About the P&F

Role of the P&F

As parents and friends of the school we are all part of Holy Rosary’s Parents and Friends (P&F) Association.
The role of the P&F is to represent the interests of the parent body and to help build community spirit and co-operation among our families, staff and parishioners.
As parents we have the opportunity to enjoy the exciting experience of our children’s school years by active participation and personal involvement in the school. The P&F provides a healthy forum for ideas and discussion. We assist in planning and organising functions and fundraisers to provide financial assistance towards teaching resources and the development of school facilities.
Over recent years, the P&F has undertaken and funded:

  • The upper primary nature playground
  • The Pre Primary playground upgrade
  • The Kindy nature playground
  • Resurfacing of the netball courts
  • Lego Robotics for the science curriculum

We liaise regularly with the School Board and a P&F representative attends the monthly Board meetings.
Our P&F is affiliated with the Parents and Friends Federation WA  http://pff.wa.edu.au/
A copy of our constitution is available on request or is held in the school office.

2017 Committee

President: Simon Devlin

Simon joined the P&F Committee in late 2014. He has four children and will be a Holy Rosary parent until 2026 with his son, Jack, yet to make his debut. Simon has two daughters; Ruby in Year 11 at Newman College and Charlotte in Year 6 at Holy Rosary.

Vice President: Nathan Byrne

Treasurer: Peter Devlin

Peter is recently retired as Financial Controller for the Perth Wildcats and is grandfather to Charlotte in Year 6. He has a three year old grandson yet to go through schooling at Holy Rosary.

Secretary: Al King

Representative to School Board: Mark Nolan

I have been part of the Holy Rosary community since 2015. I have two girls that attend and when I am not at school I am working in my finance broking business. As the P&F representative to the School Board I enjoy playing a role in optimising the input and energy of these two important volunteer groups. I believe “you get out what you put in” and regularly see examples of this within our Holy Rosary community.
